How the Procedure Works
THe follicular unit of the adult human scalp consists of
1–4 terminal (full thickness) hair follicles. Dr Kurgis transplants hair in the same "bundle" in which they grew previously. Individual hairs are often best for the frontal hairline and in "transition" zones where bald and hair bearing areas meet. However, density is achieved by placing naturally occurring follicular groups that will provide the most coverage.
